Questions for Young Earth Creationists

Challenging YEC one question at a time

The purpose of the site is to dispel the conclusions arrived at through bad and inconsistent hermeneutics and challenge the fallacies and errors of young Earth creationism. I am committed to fostering an environment where sound and consistent hermeneutics guide understanding, and where the Church becomes a safe haven for young people grappling with the false dichotomy between science and the Bible.

  • Addressing Fallacies and Errors: We meticulously examine the claims of young Earth creationism, highlighting the scientific inaccuracies and logical inconsistencies that undermine their arguments.

  • Sound and Consistent Hermeneutics: The approach is grounded in a deep respect and firm belief in the inerrancy and authority of Scripture. Any concerns about harmony with scientific evidence is secondary. Science isn't really my thing.

  • Inconsistent Cousin of the Flat-Earther: We draw parallels between young Earth creationists and flat Earthers, exposing the similarities in their hermeneutics noting that, at least, a flat earther is consistent.

  • Formulating Critical Questions: We encourage critical thinking by posing questions that challenge the dogmatism of young Earth creationism, urging believers to consider the possibility that their views may be mistaken in light of Scripture. I want to separate Christianity from young earth creationism.

  • Uncovering True Meaning: Once you set creation science aside, you can see the true and beautiful meaning of Scripture. We aim to reveal these deeper truths, enhancing the spiritual journey of our readers.
